Located on the banks of the beautiful Dushu Lake, Suzhou Medical College of Soochow University was established in July 2021, following the signing of the “four-party construction” agreement by the Jiangsu Education Department, Jiangsu Commission of Health, Suzhou Municipal People’s Government and Soochow University. Its predecessor is the Medical College of Soochow University. The Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), host of the world-renowned “Jinji Lake Talents Programme”, provides all-round support for young talents, backbone talents and leading talents in biomedicine. Currently, Suzhou Medical College has 7 postdoctoral mobile research stations, 8 first-level discipline doctoral programmes, and 1 first-level discipline professional doctoral programme. It has 3 national key disciplines, 8 national key clinical specialties, and 2 key disciplines of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, as well as a number of state-level key laboratories and research centres. 2)Title: Outstanding Talents

Qualification:

Professor, Associate Professor or equivalent position in a high-level overseas university or research institution, head of R&D department in a famous multinational company

Position: Distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor

Benefits:

Salary: 0.8-1 million RMB and above (excluding social insurance and housing fund paid by the University) + reward uncapped

Relocation allowance: 2-2.5 million RMB (including supporting local government policies)

Academic start-up funds:

*Experimental science, engineering and medical science 5 to 8 million RMB

*Additional fund for experimental equipment according to the needs

3)Title: Excellent Talents

Qualification:

Served as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor or the equivalent position in overseas high-level universities and research institutions.

Position: Distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor

Benefits:

Salary: 0.4-0.8 million RMB (excluding social insurance and housing fund paid by the University) + reward uncapped

Relocation allowance: 1.5-1.8 million RMB (including supporting local government policies)

Academic start-up funds:

*Experimental science, engineering and medical science 3 to 6 million RMB and above

*Additional fund for experimental equipment according to the needs

4)Title: Excellent Young Scholars

Qualification:

Excellent doctoral or postdoctoral from domestic and overseas top universities or research institutions. 

Position: Associate Professor

Benefits:

Salary: 0.3 to 0.5 million RMB. 

Bonus and subsidies: 0.5 to 1 million RMB.

Academic start-up funds:

*Experimental science, engineering and medical science 3 to 4 million RMB

*Additional fund for experimental equipment according to the needs

5) Postdoctoral faculty

Those who meet the requirements of the university’s faculty recruitment plan that year, and meet the requirements of postdoctoral researcher recruitment.

Yearly remuneration: 0.2 million RMB and above. 

Bonus and subsidies: 0.2 to 0.4 million RMB.
